Welcome to our forums Mike :) 

Black Marble lights will show over Photoreal; but not landclass textures as those get blocked by PR always,
you can use our Night Environment product line to cover a supported area with PR compatible textures as well as lights suited for PR,
Black Marble can be excluded in that particular areas so you show only NE lights and textures or even mixed together :)

i really thought i could  have my photo real scenerys lit up with this addon 

how do i get black marble lights to show up over my photo real what do you mean not landclass textures what does show up?

i only bought this to light up my photo real im very disapointed can i have my money back

you can submit a refund request though support tab :) 

unless you have some excludes lights should appear over your PR but not LC road textures! (you already have roads in your PR!)

try increasing your veg density with agn lod radius 
 

Black marble is a Worldwide Landclass Road Network System!
it also has lights at night you can configure alongside these worldwide roads,

 

 

 

not to be confused with our Night Environment product line which is a regional based Photoreal Lightmap (aka night layer)
Night Environment was designed specifically for Photoreal based regions (no one has worldwide PR coverage!),

Chris,  how to exclude Black Marble in the area where I’m going to use NE?

Is that automatical or a manual thing?

can you be more specific as for what you are trying to achieve?

there is no way currently to isolate a specific area on the globe through BMM,

you can create an exclude to exclude BMNG in a given area but its not a builtin function you can use through BMNG GUI, 

are you asking with regard to Night Environment or Black Marble lines?

I already purchased BMNG but it doesn’t works over my Italy photoreal scenery for this reason, thanks 59 today's discounts, I bought Italy night environment. 

 

I would like to know if I can exclude BMNG to load over Italy in order to do not load unnecessary thing that will be not even shown....

we can help with custom setting the two :)

by default you can run NE over BMNG that should block BMNG texture native!

you can also keep NE splash textures on and mix lights from NE with BMNG lights,

 

try to play with setting now before we intervene externally i think you can find a nice balance, 
if not let me know we will compile a special exclude for you,

I don't think I completely understood, can you try to address me better on the right way to try to mix the two....

 

Anyway I think that if you can create an exclude for me could be better 😄
