    Hi Tom for us in the USA PayPal is a nightmare! their policy here is... you must handout full control over your main bank account! i mean they have more control over your personal and business account than you! they can and will block your access to your own account if they don't like something, in Europe this wont fly and they know it, PayPal never implemented this policy for the rest of the world, just for us! (i feel very special!)

    Hi Chris. Must say I am somewhat disappointed with your latest Black Marble statement. All the hype around Black M being ready months ago and that release delays were down to the problems with the store. What everyone was waiting for was the store to be opened so we could get our hands on it. The store opened and no Black M. Now you are saying another 2-3 weeks. The reasons for this of course are totally within your remit as developer and owner of both the product and the store and I fully respect that, but am struggling to understand the reason being given " when our backend is ready to accommodate vendors". Who are you talking about? Other vendors suggests other sellers but I thought the whole idea was that your products would be solely in your new store once the store was up and running. What I do know and you do as well is that the Buyers are totally ready. What is on offer in the store at the moment is not particularly enticing due to a lack of detail especially the new NE products and the difference between the old v1.7 version and the "new" 1.8 versions. Much more clarification is required in regard to what benefits and visual changes, the additional costs to previous NE owners provides with v1.8. Not a problem for new buyers who never had NE but certainly to us old owners of multiple sets of NE. We are potentially looking at relatively big bucks here, should we decide the benefits of v1.8 outweigh the additional expense. For me to buy the v1.8's will cost me $208. I do hope that for us previous owners you can arrange some kind of upgrade discount. I know you are working on possible resolutions and appreciate your efforts Only constructive criticism here Chris I assure you. I will wait patiently for Black M but needed to express my disappointment, but also express my total support in all your efforts.

    Hear, hear flydubai. Well said. I wouldn't want that posters money let alone his company. We are all frustrated because BM has lost some of it's hype but it doesn't mean that it won't be a great enhancement addon. In fact i feel a lot of empathy towards Chris who has never let us down before and has not done so this time. It's the web store developer who has gate crashed the party not Chris and his design team. I will wait patiently for the weekend to arrive and, very hopefully, by then everything will be up and running as we all hope it will. Of course I anticipate some tech queries after install by some (possibly me as I am not that savvy !) and I anticipate we will get the normal, helpful and most importantly, POLITE response to our questions from Chris. Good luck Chris.

    For the sake of decency, I'm only going to quote a bit of your post. This isn't at all how you should act with anyone, let alone a developer that hasn't taken a penny from you before handing over a product in exchange. Granted, from the numerous delays, it would seem like this was going to turn into one of those wet dreams but time and again we see developers trying to explain how putting a date to something just causes more issues than creating favorable results. You've seen what effect it has on the developer and community first hand now. I am just as frustrated as the next guy regarding the delays with Black Marble but I think Chris and his team are due for an apology from you.

    Hi Chris, the error was about a "declined" CC, your system doesn't accept my CC. I use it for all my purchases in internet without any problem.

    Hello I'm writing here because I had problems with buying Black Marble base, it is not accepting my CC (but I used the same CC with PMDG products successfully). I sent 2 messages through "contact us" asking help but got no answer. Now my order is "pending".

    Got ya. It would be FTX Vector that adds roads, so with that and some other options switched off in FTX Vector I would get your roads, 3D Bridges and traffic.

    So if I buy BM base and support for 2 years, which cost $35, I can just add BM vector only (no support) and my total would be $80. That should be good?

    BM Base replaces the look of the roads. It adds new nightlighting to the P3Dv4 default roads system and you can configure all lights. BM Vector replaces the default simple roads sytem by all roads in the whole world. No only US , or onlu Eu etc. The whole wide world. Combined you will have all roads in the world with the new configurable lighting system. BM Bridges adds all bridges and those bridges look fantastic ( I have seen beta sceenshots ). BM Traffic adds cars with realistic carlighting . Also lost of things are configurable. Regarding the prices. How much does FTX Vector cost to get all roads ? And the nightlighting cannot be compared to that of BM or NE v1.8 and up. And the BM seris is stackable, so you do not need to buy it all at once.

    Just another question! With regard to the addons to Marble like Traffic and 3D Bridges, it says that Marble Vector and of course Base must be installed, but I wish to know why that is? Is it so that the whole world is covered with the Traffic and Bridges? I assume so, but if I am not interested in the majority of the rest of the world would Bridges and Traffic not work at all say for example in the US and Europe and South America for example? or are those addons directly linked to having Marble Vector and will not work at all if Marble Vector is not installed?

    Oh I completely understand that. I apologize if my post made it sound like I wasn't impressed by the security standards of your shop. I have full faith that you and your team would have taken all possible precautions in making sure every inch of that shop is secure. I just feel I'm much better off using PayPal as a centralized payment system for all my online purchases. We'll see what options are offered when Black Marble is finally put up for sale as I'm sure most of the users have been waiting week after week for just that. I presume your new products will only be offered in your store and no other reseller will stock them, so if PayPal isn't offered, I will have to buckle in and probably use one of those prepaid cards to make the purchase.

    My experience was the same as Thad's but I looked in the "Manage Followed Content section" instead of the "Manage Your Purchases section". That's why I didn't see it at first.

    I'm unable to, Chris. It says 'The display name or email address you entered does not belong to any account. Make sure that it is typed correctly'. I am using the same email address I used to register here and I've checked it for accuracy 5 times. Still unable to sign into the store. The same email address works fine here.

    Chris I thank you graciously sir for your efforts to date and hope you get a good nights sleep. The good news is that I have downloaded the Blue Marble, and successfully installed it with no problems experienced. I will want to change my login password soon as it is not the one I want but am concerned it may cause some tech conflicts. Should I wait a while? The second very minor point is that the download speed is not as great as on some sites. I am not complaining so don't get me wrong, but I am blessed with a fibre speed capable of 300Mbs with which I normally can attain a download speed of 40 MB/s. I downloaded at 8-9 MB/s. Anyway all is currently good and for that I thank you again. Now the main question: When will I get Black Marble?????????????

    we do not disagree K! we made some of these updates available to Aerosoft a long time ago!!! we cannot influence their update policy or the manner they operate their institution, it was at their disclosure which titles to publish, update and which not, technically speaking all customer support efforts should be covered by Aerosoft! as it is covered by our agreement and completely falls in Aerosoft realm of responsibility, i've been privately financing this forum, shop and everything involved in this! this forums and direct support we been providing is not the standard of operations in this industry, how many developers like myself cover support instead of the publisher himself for no additional cost? this was not mandatory we did this because it was important that our customers get direct support from us!!! as for these little glitches, we are fixing these and should be on our way to Black marble shortly as well as many other ground breaking projects

    Thanks, Chris. I'd be willing to pay a small upgrade fee to get the latest version as well as getting a P3D v4 specific installer but full price for all of them is a bit out of my reach. Perhaps you should've called them 'Night Environment v2' to avoid the confusion of us thinking it is an update. Oh well, look forward to the free Blue Marble and the release of Black Marble since that will be my only option for night lighting, outside of the regions I've already purchased. As Night Environment is a full purchase from v1.8 and above, will you be updating the previous regions up to at least v1.71? Out of all the regions I've purchased from SimMarket, Denmark (v1.0) and Greece (v1.1) still haven't been updated to v1.71.

    I have sorted out my login into the store. Had clicked on Blue Marble P3Dv4. Entered Blue as the code while having Credit Card ticked, ended up paying $9.99 ! I then went to manage purchases and it says active. So I have not got the free version and cannot download as there is no link and no email confirmation. You owe me $9.99 which I will take as a credit if that can be sorted please and would request a download link and serial number. Don't you just love teething problems. Patience is a virtue.

    from Arno Gerretsen, Peter Rosendahl (CaptPero), Kevin Estruch (Vogel69), Jean Pierre Pertti (JpP), William Bithrey, Esther Eisner, (and this is partial list not to mention myself! http://www.joesdata.com/p/Chris-Bell-8952760) our developers are the best at their game Mario, we are not here to play games with anyone! delays were not because our developers; we all did our jobs, its our hosting company selling us an advertised service with so many holes in it; like Swiss cheese, as soon as we developed our functions locally and upload to our live server things wouldn't work as expected; hosting kept telling us ts our programing fault; they never told us they are restricting us, they lied to us deliberately! in the past 5 months i've moved us over 8 different servers packages within that company! technically speaking... we do not have any customers just yet! what we are doing here is transitioning from a developer (with external third party publisher) to a full autonomous publisher! opening a new publishing company with everything that entails is not an easy task as one might think! there are many elements involved here, from professionals time to financial investment, as far as i can tell we have been straight up with our community all this time, Ive apologized several times and explained why we are delaying; as K said below my comment here, expect your Blue Marble invitation to arrive this weekend! (i welcome a soft apology after that)
