few pics worth a thousand words to put this in proportions... somewhere in the middle there is LAX day reference this is not top down view, just looking down from normal F10 view at FL1250 backing up from LAX showing texture distance still at FL1250 (forward looking),

fairly soon! maybe next week or the following, the new data is in the oven as we speak we are waiting on that to finish, we will release the data update very soon followed by another update containing our new textures and few other surprises, there's more to come we are not disclosing yet (i know im a tease, let me have it that's all i got )

indeed Eduardo i posted the setting we are working with so there's no doubt, textures will extend as far as the eye can see, you clearly can see LC night textures now even in F12 view all the way from space, the only reason scenery complexity slider is not completely off atm is because we are also testing bridges and thats the minimal it has to be for them to show otherwise it can also be off with the same radius still shown, "level of detail radius" is all you need to do to change coverage area, images shown with max default "level of detail radius" slider setting (if it was custom it would say custom instead of MAX), there are few other element we have not yet disclosed that will compliment the new radius as well,

Hi Chris this looks fantastic. So, am I to understand that the night “textures” will be drawn in the distance even with the autogen/scenery load distance not at maximum ? Cheers Eduardo

Hi thank you for your quick answer. I go to my Simulator and check my sceneries I have orbx (global base, vectors, and all european Scenery, orby german south, north and so on) Furher I use Austria HD Mega Scenery Earth Switzerland, Belgium, Portugal, Italy, complete Spain, Ireland Now I will buy Black Marble -->Base, Vector, 3D Bridge and Traffic Stargazer and Night Envioment -->Albs, Benelux, British Isles, Italy, Portugal, Spain Is your Scenery in the Scenery.cfg? Is it before or after all orbx items? How does it work with orbx? Orbx has own lights? best Michael PS: Is there a Special for all the products?

I'm not really smart. What would you recommend? I am looking for a better representation at night. Use orbx or simmershome at the moment. The lights are hanging in the air. Best Michael

hmm i need to think about this----does it cover worldwide tho?

Hello, I don’t use autogen in my P3Dv4 because all of my flights are all high-altitude flying. I just like them off. With the Black Marble will it show lights if I have all autogen off or do I need to use autogen to show the lights? thanks! Brian

worldwide might come later on atm its too big of a commitment for us, every state will be updated every other year with new imagery! 4 season, nights, every object is detected off the imagery itself so every building will pop, same goes with vegetation detected of the imagery and cross referenced with exiting db for size type and age, everything you currently see 2D will be 3D in form of an object, in the video few posts back its so seamless as we detect and match roof colors as well its hard to tell every object is 3D in the scenery, once the demo will be out everyone will be able to see this in person and there will be very little to think about beside... do i have space

welcome to our forums Brian you will need to keep autogen slider at least at sparse for 3D lights to show at night, the rest of the data will show regardless,
